Course Objectives This course introduces students to a office design and learn them to prepare a schematic and developed design for complex office building
project with an emphasis on interrelationships of spaces and specialist functions, including, public interface, public assembly and functional performance. Students will be in ability to think about relationships between particular new designed building and surrounding context.

Learning Outcomes After successful  completion of the course, the student will be able to:
  1. Justify a design with references to an urban or natural site.
  2. Develop strategies for office or school buildings.
  3. Indentify functional needs and uses of office or school buildings
  4. Prepare design solutions to be suitable in an existing building fabric.
  5. Present designs and ideas graphically and verbally.
Teaching Methods Lectures with examples and class discussions. Active tutorial sessions for engaged learning and continuous feedback on progress. In this course, students will have worked closely with a tutor on a unique project, absorbing the key issues informing the project and demonstrating an ability to translate these issues into a design project.
